Purpose

LEVART STONES lets you create travelling stones, activate them with a QR code, log their stages and follow their route publicly.

Browsing the site, scanning a stone and logging a stage is free and requires no account.

What you get when activating a stone

Activating a stone is a digital service. It includes creating its identity within LEVART, generating its unique QR code, publishing its journey page and delivering a print-ready PDF with the QR in several sizes.

You are not buying a physical stone or any printed material: the stone is provided and prepared by the user.

The payment is not a donation made by you to a charity, but the price of a digital service on which LEVART STONES takes on its own solidarity commitment.

Price, payment and taxes

The current price is always shown before completing the payment, including applicable taxes where relevant.

Payments are processed through Stripe. LEVART STONES does not access or store card details.

The stone is published once the payment is confirmed. If the payment is not completed, the stone remains pending and can be resumed later from the link provided.

Solidarity commitment

LEVART STONES commits to allocating 50% of the net amount of each activation to charitable purposes. Net amount means what is actually received after the payment platform's fees.

The remaining 50% goes to the maintenance, infrastructure and development of the project.

The specific beneficiary organisation or project will be announced publicly. Until then, the corresponding amounts are reserved for that purpose.

Immediate performance and withdrawal

Before paying, in the creation summary you must tick a specific box, unticked by default, by which you expressly request the service to start immediately and acknowledge the consequences this has for your right of withdrawal. Without that express request the payment is not started.

This is digital content generated and delivered immediately: once the service has been fully performed (the QR, the PDF and the stone's page generated and delivered), you lose the right of withdrawal in the cases provided for by law for distance contracts.

We keep a record of that express request (date, time and version of these terms) linked to your stone.

If the service has not actually been provided, you can request cancellation and a refund by writing to the contact below.

Errors and refunds

If a technical error attributable to the platform occurs — for example, a duplicate charge or a stone that fails to activate — it will be corrected or the corresponding amount refunded.

A stone's details (name, story, mission or photo) can be corrected by writing to us; an error in those details does not in itself entitle you to a refund.

Rules of participation

By using the platform you agree to:

• contribute content that is your own or over which you hold sufficient rights;
• not publish unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, sexual or violent content, or content infringing third-party rights;
• not publish other people's personal data or photos in which they appear without their consent;
• not publish images where a minor is identifiable without the authorisation of their parent or guardian;
• record truthful locations, avoiding private or sensitive places;
• respect the rules and permissions of the place where you pick up or leave a stone, and not leave it in protected areas, on private property without permission or in dangerous locations.

Moderation

Every stage is reviewed before publication. LEVART STONES may decline to publish, edit or remove any content that breaches these terms, is inappropriate or contains obvious errors, without this giving rise to any compensation.

Contributed content

You keep the rights to the photos and texts you contribute and grant LEVART STONES a free, non-exclusive licence to display them, adapt them technically (for example to optimise images or translate texts) and share them within the context of the project, including on the project's own channels.

You can request the removal of specific content at any time.

Children

Children can take part accompanied by a responsible adult. Payments must always be made by an adult with legal capacity to contract.

Limitation of liability

LEVART STONES does not guarantee that a stone will continue its journey, be found, be preserved or return to its origin: that depends entirely on the people who find it.

The platform is provided as is; we aim for continuous availability but cannot guarantee the absence of interruptions or technical incidents.

Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you act as a consumer, you keep the rights granted to you by consumer protection law, including access to the European online dispute resolution platform.
